Course description:  Shamanism, the world's oldest spiritual practice, is a path of spiritual freedom.

Through the art of shamanic journeying, shamans and shamanic practitioners work directly with the helping spirits to divine helpful information, heal the spiritual aspect of illness, perform important ceremonies, and do much more.

In shamanism, there are no gurus or outside authorities. Through your direct contact with the spiritual worlds, you receive your own knowledge and assistance from the helping spirits, and come to know these worlds firsthand.

In this highly experiential four-session training , designed by Sandra Ingerman and including additions from Garrett's helping spirits,   you will be introduced to the power of shamanic journeying. You will learn how you can partner with your helping spirits to bring valuable insight and spiritual healing to yourself, and if you are called , to others.

In this course, you will discover:

• What shamanism is, and the work of shamans and shamanic practitioners;
• The three worlds that the shaman classically journeys into;
• How to meet your own helping spirits, such as a power animal and teacher in human form;
• Safe, chemical-free ways to shift consciousness to prepare for shamanic work;
• How to receive guidance for yourself and others through shamanic divination;
• Illness, health, and healing from a shamanic perspective;
• The power of working in community through the spirit boat; and
• The shamanic healing method of power animal retrieval, and how to use it to bring healing to people in-person and long-distance.

And  much more!

You will have ample opportunity to integrate and practice the material taught between sessions, and will also gain access to an optional-to-join private Facebook group where you can ask questions, share experiences, and form community.

This course teaches classic shamanic understandings, not any one culture's practices. Additionally, we will be using repetitious percussion, rather than vision plants, to change consciousness for our shamanic work.

No experience with shamanism or a spiritual practice is necessary for attendance; all are welcome!

What to Have:  An eye covering (such as a bandana or sleep mask), pen/pencil, and notebook . Optional items to bring include headphones and a drum and/or rattle. Please make sure that you tune in from a quiet space where you can relax so that you can fully engage with the material.
