About Rev. Jim: 

Founder and Spiritual Advisor of the Institute for Spiritual Development, Rev. James DeBiasio’s mastery of philosophy, spirituality and metaphysics spans five decades. As an avid teacher he has designed and conducted courses, workshops and retreats around the country and abroad. He has been a practicing medium and spiritual counselor for over fifty years, and is sought for his insight and guidance.

A native of New Jersey, Rev. Jim is proud to say that his deep spiritual commitment is built on his Catholic education - going from grade school, high school, college, graduate school and teaching with the Jesuits for eleven years.  The rich theological background this provided opened the door to his deep metaphysical understanding and connection with the higher realms.

He founded the Institute for Spiritual Development 45 years ago in Sparta, N.J, and 35 years ago in Washington, D.C.  ISD now has additional affiliate spiritual communities in Madison, NJ, Oneonta, NY and Treasure Coast, FL.
