Trustee, and member of the Board since January 2020, Brenda Paradiso began regularly attending services and classes at ISDDC in 2017. Within a year, she put down roots at her new spiritual home and found unique ways to contribute her creative and leadership skills. In January 2019 she organized Team Goddess, a group of ISDDC members and volunteers who envisioned and facilitated the Make the Dream Real creativity ritual. She followed that successful effort by spearheading the 2019 Columbus Day weekend retreat, Camp Dream Weaver. She reconvened Team Goddess to create and facilitate The Way to the Well ritual in February 2020 and led related services in 2020 and 2021, seasonal events celebrating the Celtic holiday of Imbolc, and the Goddess and Saint, Brigid. As ISDDC events shifted online, Brenda embraced the challenge of learning live streaming technology and has since donated her technical expertise and home studio resources to produce professional quality live online services led by various members of the ISDDC ministerial staff.
Apart from her volunteer activities on behalf of ISDDC, she continues to work as the Law Office Administrator at Paradiso, Taub, Sinay, Owel & Kostecka where she has managed all business aspects of the firm to include finance and billing, human resources and office technology systems for over 20 years. Brenda, who had an early career as a licensed clinical social worker, looks forward to retiring from her position at the law firm in late 2022 and devoting more energy and focus on service to Spirit through building Sacred Fusion, her integrated healing practice, and Spirit Throw Me A Bone Live!, her weekly live-stream show and YouTube channel. She especially looks forward to the opportunity to continue to serve in a leadership position on the Board of Trustees of The Institute for Spiritual Development to help guide its present re-envisioning and “heed her call of stewardship, so together we can make her who she was created to be -- a beacon guiding all Spiritual Seekers to a deepening connection to the Divine Within.”
