We offer you the opportunity to join a committee and blend your energies with a spiritual group working towards a common good.  From ushering at our Services to preparing hospitality, there are many ways which you can make a difference.   If time is a constraint, perhaps you can serve on some committees which require less frequent attendance.

• Bookstore

       Objective: To support the Church and its philosophy through sale of books and other items
       Needed Volunteers:    Cashiers -- Use the Point of Sale Computer in sale of items

• Building & Grounds
       Chair: Tom Landon    
       Objective: To beautify and maintain our Spiritual Home facility.
       Needed Volunteers:   Gardeners, Handymen & Handywomen, Maintenance Persons, Liasion with Contractors and Service Persons.  Special Volunteers for Seasonal Decoration and UnDecoration Parties and for Spring and Fall House and Garden Days

• Building Use
       Chair: Vacant    
       Objective: To oversee Building rental
       Needed Volunteers:    Rental Agreement Coordinator, Institute Representatives to open & close and oversee building while being rented.

• Finance
       Chair: Rev. Ken Foor, Treasurer    
       Objective: To competently manage moneys and assets and provide necessary reporting to the Board
       Needed Volunteers:    Assistant Treasurer, Investment Advisor, Audit Coordinator, Bequests & Will Coordinator.

• Hospitality
       Chair: Sue Landon   
       Objective: To provide Hospitality and Food Preparation for Services and Special Events
       Needed Volunteers:    Weekly Food Preparers & Kitchen Cleanup Help, Food Buyer, Seasonal Service Coordinator.

• Membership

       Newsletter Editor, Susan Holmes    
       Objective: To increase and support an active and vital membership
       Needed Volunteers:    Welcome Coordinator, New Member Facilitator, Right Hand of Fellowship Coordinator, Big Brother/Sister Coordinator, Retreat Coordinator, Pledge Program Coordinator, Renewal & Records Coordinator, Social Events Planner & Coordinator.

• Publicity

       Objective: To effectively market and publicize the Institute and the Events
       Needed Volunteers:    Design & Layout editor, Handout Flyers Coordinator, Print Media Coordinator, Radio/TV Coordinator, Internet Coordinator, Long-term Advertising Coordinator, Hotels Coordinator, Expos/Booths Coordinator, Mailings Coordinator.

• Ways & Means
       Chair: Vacant    
       Objective: To meet the budget needs for each fiscal year
       Needed Volunteers:    Event Planners, Chairpersons & Helpers.

Ministerial Committees

• Education
       Chair: Vacant    
       Objective: To conduct Classes, Workshops and other Educational endeavors in line with the Institute's Mission.
  

• Flowers & Podium Preparation
       Chair: Sherry Foor    
       Objective: To coordinate flower donations for our Services throughout the year as well as seasonal decorations.
       Needed Volunteers:    Donors for flowers for specific Sundays throughout the year.   Donations may be given in honor or in memory of loved ones, guides or teachers.  Assistance may be needed to help prepare Sanctuary for special Services, ie. Seasonal Services, Christmas, Volunteer Appreciation, Easter, Mother's Day.

• Healing Program
       Chair: Rev. Ken Foor    
       Objective: To maintain the Institute's Spiritual Healing Ministry
       Needed Volunteers:    Certified Institute Healers

• Mediumship Program
       Chair: Lyriel Claire    
       Objective: To maintain the Institute's Intuitive and Spiritual Counseling Ministry
       Needed Volunteers:    Approved Insitute Mediums and Psychics.

• Music
       Chair: Rev. Marcus Capone    
       Objective: To maintain the Institute's Music Ministry
       Needed Volunteers:    Weekly Service Keyboard Musicians, Guest Special Music Musicians, Choir Members able to sing, willing to meet weekly and perform monthly from Sept. to June..

• Prayer & Special Intentions
       Chair: Rev. Fredi Stewart    
       Objective: To maintain the Prayer and Special Intention Ministry
       Needed Volunteers:    Certified Institute Healers or anyone willing to project positive light, energy, love and prayer at an appointed time every week for listed concerns.
