Kundalini Yoga is an ancient science of self-healing that uses exercises, breath-work, mantra and meditation to create vitality in the body, balance in the mind and openness to the spirit. This class teaches simple yogic techniques that can be enjoyed by everyone, no matter his or her age or physical ability. The practice of Kundalini Yoga promotes optimum health, stress reduction, emotional balance, brain longevity, and enhanced intuition. It trains the mind to be calm, clear and flexible in the face of stress and change. It is a safe and complete yogic system and is acknowledged by yogic traditions to be one of the fastest catalysts for personal growth.
Please wear comfortable clothes and bring a yoga mat, sheep skin or something comfortable to sit on. Also bring a pillow and blanket to aid your comfort during certain exercises and deep relaxation periods. Excellent for those who have limited motion or must remain seated. Pay at first class and get a discount for the series or come to as many individual sessions as as you wish.
