As A Member, I... How Do I Become A Member? Who Is Eligible For Membership

      Membership in the Institute for Spiritual Development represents a committed step up from being a Congregant.   Membership offers the opportunity to mature spiritually through a commitment to the well-being of our Community and Spiritual Home.

      As a member, you receive a deeper sense of ownership and belonging, a voice in your Spiritual Community and a context for your spiritual growth.   Membership is the single-most important way of ensuring that the Institute and her loving, healing presence is and will be there for those who need and seek her.   The desire to make the Institute's welfare one's personal business and responsibility is the truest sign of readiness for membership.

      Membership is required to serve on the Board of Trustees and to enter the Ministerial Program.

      A Member Orientation is made by appointment with our Pastor and Director, Rev. Marcus Capone.
 

As A Member, I ...

  • Actively participate in the Spiritual and Community Life of the Institute. 

  • Join in the fellowship of like-minded people who share the same vision and goals. 

  • Seek the opportunities for greater service through volunteering. 

  • Share my talents, skills and expertise with the group. 

  • Celebrate with the Community, the special days in the life of the Church -- Anniversary, Volunteer Appreciation Service, Dedication Sunday, Convention Sunday, Congregatonal Planning Days.  

  • Have an opportunity to give back. 

  • Have a sense of ownership.  

  • Take a stand and have a personal identification with something larger than me.  

  • Accept the challenge and the empowerment of a commitment.  

  • Make a conscious choice to participate in the Pledge Program at whatever level my contemplation and meditation feel is appropriate.  

  • Accept support in my spiritual pathway and offer my support to others.  

  • Have a context to pursue and grow in my spiritual practice.  

  • Vote for Board Members and become part of the decision-making process of the Church.  

  • Become eligible to pursue the Ministry through the Institute for Spiritual Development.  

  • Become a leader and a beacon of light in this New Age of Enlightenment
 

How Do I Become A Member?

  • Complete and submit an Application for Membership.

  • Schedule an Orientation with the Pastor and Director, Rev. Marcus Capone. 

  • Remit the membership fee -- $20 for Single/ $30 for Family. 

  • Upon approval of the Board of Directors, a Membership Package will be mailed to you. 

 

Who Is Eligible for Membership?

    SINGLE or FAMILY PRIMARY:
  • 18 years or older.
  • In agreement with the precepts and philosophy of the Institute.
  • Willingness to participate in the life, community and support of the Church. 

    FAMILY ASSOCIATE:
  • Spouse or Domestic Partner of the Primary Member.
  • Any Children under 18 years old of the Primary Member.
